Shadow of the Frozen Throne was a crossover event between Diablo Immortal and World of Warcraft. It ran from July 4th to 26th, 2024.

Gameplay

Frozen Gates appeared at random points in the wilderness. Entering it lead the player to a dungeon reminiscent of a shortened Mad King's Breach. While in the dungeon, player were awarded Chill of the Frozen Throne; a buff that increases damage by 10% for 10 seconds for every 5 monsters killed. Additionally, skeletons are randomly raised to fight for the player (up to 5 at a time).

A plague of undying blows upon the northern winds. The dead rise to join the ranks of an undead army. The Lich King besieges Sanctuary and beckons you to join his Scourge.
