Shadow Warrior is an Assassin Skill in Diablo II.

Usage

You can summon a copy of yourself that can use the 2 abilities provided on the left and right mouse clicks at any given time while the shadow warrior is alive (though exceptions include the ability to cast Shadow Warrior and Shadow Master, which are both disabled).

The level of the skills the Shadow Warrior uses are equivalent to 1/3 of its own skill level + 1/2 of the level of the skill being used. For demonstration: using equipment, a level 30 Shadow Warrior and level 30 lighting sentry would enable the Shadow to cast a level 25 Lightning Sentry [10 (from SW's level)+15 (from Lightning Sentry) =25]. Shadows will also remember skills they have used and gain synergy from them when available. After taking a minute from casting your warrior, allow it to use Charged Bolt Sentry, Shock Web, and Death Sentry; then by adding Lighting Sentry on for its main attack, the Shadow Warrior shall have a fully synergized Lightning Sentry. This applies to any skills that have synergies.

Traps that the Warrior (or Master) lays out will also count towards your total of 5 traps, potentially over-riding your trap placement. Shadow Warrior gains +4 resistance to all per level, to a max of level 75.

Shadow Warrior is one of the few spells the Assassin may cast within a town. Once cast, the shadow warrior stays with the player until she is destroyed, at which point a new one can be created. This includes moving between acts. When injured, a shadow warrior will heal over time. If the player saves and quits, however, the shadow warrior must be resummoned when the game resumes.

Once the Assassin gains the ability to cast the spell, she will now have the ability to create a party of three, including whatever hireling may be available. Unlike the hireling, however, the shadow warrior cannot be given her own new equipment or armor.

History

The Assassin trained in this discipline has the ability to project a "shadow" of herself. The Shadow Warrior makes use of normal attack and the two skills the Assassin has readied for herself.
