Usage

The upgrade to Shadow Warrior this skill allows the shadow to use skills the Assassin herself might not even know. Though this can be useful, using Master instead of Warrior does have pros and cons.

Using Master over Warrior allows an undergeared Assassin to be more effective as the Master's skills aren't tied into the Assassin's skills as the Warrior is. Using Master over Warrior is physically stronger since the Master is given a random assortment of items, which can actually boost skill levels. Using Master over Warrior it is actually possible to get the Master immune to all elemental attacks since the Master isn't affected by Nightmare or Hell penalties and isn't capped at 75%. Using Master over Warrior the shadow loses its Bonus Defense but gains Bonus Resists.

Using which shadow depends on preference and situation. As the Assassin gains levels and becomes more experienced as a player and has better gear, Warrior might be a better choice in some situations, allowing you to tweak what skills the shadow uses.

History

This discipline allows an Assassin to project an even more powerful shadow avatar. The Shadow Master has access to all of the Assassin skills, also skills you don't have yet.
