Shadow is an Elemental Damage type introduced in Diablo IV, dealt primarily by Rogues and Necromancers. It is associated with decay, infection, and death. The Rogue is able to imbue offense skills with Shadow damage by lacing weapons with cursed oils.[1] Enemies being killed while cursed with Shadow trigger an area of effect (AoE).[1]
