Shaddox is an angel.

Biography

Shaddox was part of a group of angel sentinels led by Verathiel. They discovered the Realm of Damnation as it was taking shape. Cut off from the High Heavens, they carved out a foothold in the realm, battling demons over the eons.

Shaddox was on of the angels from Verathiel's cadre that were captured. He was attached to a Soul Siphon for his Light to be extracted to demonic pits in order to create more demons for Skarn's army. In 1270, the Shard-seeker encountered him but his Light was already eroded and his will, shaken.

Skarn completes Shaddox's corruption

Skarn then portaled in an dealt the final blow of corruption to Shaddox; twisting the broken pieces of his mind and warping his body. The Shard-seeker then had to fight him. When he was defeated, a portal opened under him; transporting him away

Shaddox is the boss for the storyline quest "The Last Lieutenant." Initially, he wields 2 arm blades to fight. After he is defeated, he unites his arm blades to form a longsword and then the battle begins anew.

Phase 1

• Swipe: Shaddox performs a double slash with his armblades.
• Divebomb: Shaddox flies into the air and then slams down to the ground sword first, dealing AoE damage and knockback.
• Nova: Shaddox flares his wings and releases a barrage of fireballs in all directions in a vortex pattern.

Phase 2

Prelude to the 2nd battle

• Swipe: Shaddox performs a diagonal slash with his sword.
• Blade Beam: Shaddox performs a slash, sending a horizontal wave of energy from his sword.
• Divebomb: Shaddox flies into the air and then slams down feet first to the ground, dealing AoE damage and knockback.
• Lightning Storm: Shaddox raises his sword and summons a lightning storm around himself, dealing AoE lightning damage

• Shaddox is the only boss in Diablo Immortal that has to have his health bar emptied eight times to be beaten (4 times per battle)
• Shaddox seemed to be gradually purifying himself from corruption. In the first battle, he looked demonic with bone spikes on his left shoulder, semi-organic looking armor and red wings. By the second battle, his shoulder spikes retracted, his armor regenerated and his wings lightened to ash color. His mood even changes from resentful (pre 1st battle) to resignation (post 2nd battle)
