Sanctified Study

The Sanctified Study is a side quest-exclusive dungeon in Diablo IV. It is exclusive to the side quest "Legacy Unmade."

Lore[]

The study was used by Parin. He was permitted to use it by the Cathedral of Light to research the occult.^[1] According to Parin, the study was located on hallowed ground.^[2]

In 1336, the Woodsman's Axe was brought into the study by Parin in a bid to exorcize the demon that lurked within. The axe was soaked in holy water, which caused the soul of Magdalena (its last victim) to manifest, and then the Woodsman itself. Both were defeated, and the axe was destroyed.^[1]
