Ryston Arondel is an NPC seen in Diablo Immortal. He is a scout and one of the guards at Sentinel's Watch.
Biography[]
Ryston was one of the guards stationed at Sentinel's Watch. He was a close friend of Guard Terell. He was a very good scout, before he became disillusioned with the endless and thankless (to him) job.[1]
Ryston and the adventurer
One day, he left his post to hunt some varanids, as it had been some time since he last had good food with meat at Sentinel's Watch. He set traps in the Foggy Plains hoping to catch some game, but they were destroyed. While he prepared more traps, an adventure met him, who apparently had been sent to look for him by Terell.[1]
Ryston is eaten by Gorejaw
Ryston refused to return before he had eaten, so the adventurer offered to hunt varanids for him. After they returned with the meat, Ryston took them to a shaded region near a pool where he can cook them in peace. Unfortunately, he was ambushed and killed by a giant varanid that was hiding in the pond.[1]

Ryston's Service Badge
After his death, the adventurer returned his badge to Terell, who mourned his passing.[1]
In-game[]
Ryston is featured in the side quest; Carnivore's Dilemma. At the end of the quest he is eaten by Gorejaw.
