Rod Fergusson

Rod Fergusson is a member of Team 3, and is the current executive producer for the Diablo IP.[1]

Biography[]

Fergusson played Diablo II.[2] He began making games c. 2000.[3] He worked at Epic Games and later, the Coalition.

In March, 2020, he joined Blizzard Entertainment to spearhead development of the Diablo franchise.[4] At the time, Blizzard was having trouble with the development of Diablo IV, and as a pre-existing fan of the series, Fergusson accepted their offer. Furthermore, he welcomed the challenge of working on a large-scale game. In addition to Diablo IV, he also worked on Diablo II: Resurrected.[2] He was put in charge of the project in 2020, not long after being hired by Blizzard.[5]
