The Ring of Engagement is a Unique Ring in the original Diablo that is found randomly. It is useful in the early and mid-game stages of the game, but later on you're better off choosing another ring.
In the Hellfire expansion, this ring proves extremely useful for the Barbarian as its armor damaging mod effectively negates enemies' defenses, helping to compensate for the Barbarian's low dexterity.
