Ring of Emptiness

Ring of Emptiness is a Legendary ring in Diablo III, added in patch 2.4. It requires character level 59 to drop.

The unique affix bonus is multiplicative to all other modifiers, but only works if the enemy affected by the Haunt or Locust Swarm belongs to the Witch Doctor. Damage is not increased further if both spells are active.

In addition, the damage bonus is only applied to the Witch Doctor's own spells and attacks; not even the attacks of the Witch Doctor's pets and followers are enhanced. As such, pet-based builds based on Zunimassa's Haunt and Helltooth Harness benefit little from it.

Prior to patch 2.6.8, the effect would only work when both spells on the target were active at once.

• Critical Hit Chance Increased by 4.5–6.0%
• One of 3 Magic Properties (varies):
  • +220–349 Dexterity
  • +220–349 Strength
  • +220–349 Intelligence
• +3 Random Magic Properties
