Rift of the Elders is a Westmarch quest in Diablo Immortal. It follows on from Bounties Abroad, after Charsi has shown the player the Challenge Rift. Completing it leads into Tools of the Trade.

The Challenge Rift is a mystical realm used only by the bravest adventurers to hone their skill, obtain rewards, and of course, earn bragging rights.

Rift of the Elders was originally the fourth Westmarch quest, following on directly from A Walk Through Westmarch.
The quest was barely a quest at all, and simply involved the player checking the Elder Rift. Completing it lead into Diamond in the Rough.
