Resurrection is an event in Act V of Diablo III. It occurs in the Occupied Ruins within the Battlefields of Eternity, which always houses either this event or The Demon Cache. A bounty is sometimes offered to complete Resurrection.
In the ruins, players might encounter an angel fighting back the demonic horde. He will ask for assistance in stopping the Barbed Lurker demon lord Tarthess, who is trying to resurrect its ancestor and master buried nearby. The monster is found in the end of the bridge, past several Barbed Lurkers and Warscarred Marauders. Killing it will finish the event, and the angel will thank The Nephalem for help.

In addition to the usual gold and experience reward, there is usually a Resplendent Chest just after Tarthess is encountered, but it is independent from the event.
