The Reaper is a large, hulking Balrog-sized demon and one of the many warleaders of Na-Krul in Diablo: Hellfire. This monster appears in the final two levels of the Crypt (3-4).
They are among the most formidable melee monsters in the expansion. They hit hard, move quickly, shake off all types of damage, and have a lot of hit points. That all goes some distance towards making up for the fact that they look like humanoid bats who were carved from chewed up bubble gum, but it's not quite enough to strike fear into the hearts of too many players. Only Warriors and Barbarians can defeat the reaper with great physical attack force.
