Razeth's Volition is a Legendary pair of pauldrons in Diablo III, added in patch 2.6.0. They require character level 19 to drop, and can only be used by Necromancers.
The unique affix adds the Gift of Death rune to Skeletal Mage, making it leave a corpse after it disappears, in addition to any other rune.
As of patch 2.6.9, it acquired two more potent effects: it also adds Singularity rune, expending Essence for a more powerful minion, and provides a significant damage reduction while Essence is not full.
