Rakescar is a normal unique War Axe from Diablo II.

Rakescar has a strong affinity for Poison; although it offers a very large Poison Resist (useful for early game battles against bosses such as Andariel), the majority of its damage is also poison, making it less useful against enemies with similarly high Poison Resist.

Although Rakescar's damage eventually becomes outdated, it is a fairly good axe for early game, and its Poison damage is surprisingly effective against weaker enemies.
