Not only can a skilled Necromancer identify the various strains of poison that he might come across, but he also maintains a ready supply of samples. Rarely does he shy from their use. In a common application of this skill, the Necromancer paints his dagger with a thin coat of virulent poison. The greater his ability, the more potent the poison.

In-game

Usage

Poison Dagger is the Necromancer's first poison skill. It adds poison damage over time to any melee attack, and a bonus to attack rating.

Initially it is a good skill, but quickly loses potency as the Necromancer gains ranged spells such as Bone Spear and Bone Spirit. The only exception are Necromancers who specialize in using this skill. It is also a good choice for synergy with Poison Nova.

This skill only works with dagger-class weapons. Thrown Knives are not affected.
