Anisim was one of the Patriarchs of the Monks of Ivgorod.

Biography

Anisim saw his student before their departure in light of the coming of the Fallen Star. Months later, Anisim was among the Patriarchs killed by the Reapers when they launched their assault on Sanctuary. His soul ended up in the Pandemonium Fortress. Ordan, whose spirit was also present, gave him instruction on how to aid his ally. Anisim did so, providing instruction to his former student on how to obtain the powers of death. He explained that Malthael's imprisonment of the Patriarchs had disrupted the cycle of reincarnation. Once Malthael would be defeated, the cycle would begin again. He commented that his new form might be a bit more handsome.

In-game

If playing as a Monk, Anisim appears in the Pandemonium Fortress in Reaper of Souls, during the "Angel of Death" quest.
