Nova (monster skill)

Nova is a monster skill used by some bosses in Diablo Immortal. It involves releasing continuous/repeated attacks in different directions from the monster at once. This is normally done in a radial—or at times, vortex, pattern. It takes the form of elemental bolts, beams or projectiles.

In Diablo Immortal, Nova is used by the Countess, the Curator, Shaddox, Skarn, Baal, Lethes, her simulacrum, Vitaath, Ancient Nightmare (as it appears in the Silent Monastery), Verathiel, Ophinneb, Catarag, Dymdrail, Iscea and Iphael.

In Diablo IV, the Echo of Andariel has a poison nova skill.
