The Northern Highlands are a location in Act I of Diablo III. The Northern Highlands lies directly north of the Southern Highlands. The next area after it is Leoric's Hunting Grounds.
It's a much smaller wilderness location than the Southern Highlands and also doesn't have any optional dungeons.
