Netzrae is an angel NPC seen in Diablo Immortal

Biography

Netzrae was part of a group of angel sentinels led by Verathiel. They discovered the Realm of Damnation as it was taking shape. Cut off from the High Heavens, they carved out a foothold in the realm, battling demons over the eons.

All Who Succumb

Sometime after the fall of Skarn, Netzrae discovered that angels were being tortured and twisted in the Citadel of the Damned. Disgusted by this, he employed the help of the Shard-seeker(s) to put an end to it. On their quest they were ambushed by demons, during which Netzrae was defeated and bound by three Doombound Cabalists, then taken away by a Doomwarden. He was then given to Twox who was in charge of breaking him. By the time he was rescued, his will had already been broken and he became corrupted. The corrupted Netzrae was slain by the Shard-seeker(s).
