| Near Death Experience|
When receiving fatal damage, the Monk does not die, but is instead healed to 35% of maximum Life and refills Spirit to 35% (unless already having more). For 2 seconds, the Monk is also immune to all forms of control impairing effects.
Once triggered, this effect cannot occur again for 60 seconds.
Cooldown reduction does not affect the recharge period of this skill, but dying removes the debuff properly.
For obvious reasons, this skill is considered mandatory for Hardcore Monks.
- This skill's name and artwork are possible references to Sokushinbutsu, a practice of Buddhist monks observing asceticism to the point of death and entering mummification while alive.
