Mount Zavain
Mount Zavain is a mountain in the northern region of the Tamoe Mountain Range. A port is located near the mountain, from where one can travel to it with a caravan.[1]
Lore[]

Mount Zavain
Mount Zavain was soaked in blood long ago in a war between the Sons of Rakkis and the Veradani. By 1270, the war's scars still clung to Zavain's people. To make matters worse, khazra activity had surged, the goatmen displaying new intelligence and maleficence. Deep black fog spread through the valleys, damnation festered in the mountain's shadow, and it was believed that it was only a matter of time before the overwhelmed and underequipped soldiers of Sentinel's Watch were swallowed up.[2]
Later, foreboding black mist began to emanate from the Silent Monastery, threatening to cover the entire mountain in darkness.[3]
C. late 1273, dark mists originating from the north covered Mount Zavain. Unlike the mists that came some years earlier which birthed monsters straight from nightmares, this one subjected its victims to madness-inducing visions.[4]
