Maorlath is a resident of Yelesna, and devotee of the Cathedral of Light.

During the Age of Hatred, Chaos Rifts began opening across Sanctuary. He ranted to his fellow villagers, summizing (correctly) that malignant powers were at work. He was aware of Akarat's supposed return to Sanctuary, but apparently unaware of the prophet's true nature.

In-game

Morlath appears in Diablo IV as an NPC in Yelesna. He was introduced in Infernal Chaos.
