Meris was one of the prison guards of Stormpoint Keep. One morning the warden came into the mess with a red rock, asking if anyone could identify it. One rookie reached out to grab it for closer inspection. The next moment, he was spewing seawater and his face opened up like a crab. Meris had to kill the feral guard with a fire poker before he could harm anybody.[1]
Meris likely succumbed to the effects of the Worldstone shard, like other residents of the prison.
