The Memory of the Nameless is an NPC in Diablo Immortal.

Biography

The Nameless and its fellow Horadrim imbued their essence in a crystal during the Dark Exile, storing their memories for future Horadrim.

In 1270, the Shard-seeker awoke the Nameless's memory, under direction by the Memory of Iben Fahd.

The Memory of the Nameless appears as part of the Legacy of the Horadrim system.

Its in-game description is simply "The Nameless," but has been called "Memory of" here to distinguish him from his progenitor.

Tale

When death drew close, the Nameless defied the covenant it had made with its fellow magi. It gathered followers to itself, who ----- and anointed the cavity, then extracted ----- both of which were replaced with the very same, pulled alive from owls and snakes.

Over a decade, beginning with ----- who lived in the estate of -----, and continuing throughout the ----- desert, it stole the minds of others and devoured them. Their souls wailed in incomprehensible fragments, when they could be reached at all, but all repeated the name ----- in eternal confirmation of its betrayal.
