The Memory of Nor Tiraj is an NPC in Diablo Immortal.
Biography[]
Nor Tiraj and his fellow Horadrim imbued their essence in a crystal during the Dark Exile, storing their memories for future Horadrim.
In 1270, the Shard-seeker awoke Tiraj's memory, under direction by the Memory of Iben Fahd.[1]
In-game[]
The Memory of Nor Tiraj appears as part of the Legacy of the Horadrim system.
His in-game description is simply "Nor Tiraj," but has been called "Memory of" here to distinguish him from his progenitor.
Tale[]
I fell in with deserters in my youth, just for the company. As we traveled west I warned them not to settle in the Lukotori Fens, but only a few agreed, and the rest found my tone ominous and overbearing. They were soldiers and their kin, used to hard living. Now I had brought them to a cave to tell them they would all be dead within the week.

The dozen wept as I showed them pictograms on the walls, depicting shovels, upturned earth, and a wicked specter, with long hair draped over it like clothing, standing astride bones. A couple, Emaigh and Gloffin, had guilty expressions—they had dug simple trenches on the swamp's western side. They had not meant to disturb, but one cannot know what lies beneath one's feet.
After Emaigh and Gloffin broke the earth, their two children were visited by the specter on the wall; it passed a hand through their faces and marked them. The cave artist had drawn pairs of eyes with the irises filled, and the eyes of the children had become dim, unnatural amber. Emaigh and Gloffin were sure that killing the specter would save them, but I saw no victory displayed on the wall. Yet I went forth with them that night, for I am Nor Tiraj.
