The Memory of Nilfur is an NPC in Diablo Immortal.
Biography[]
Nilfur and her fellow Horadrim imbued their essence in a crystal during the Dark Exile, storing their memories for future Horadrim.
In 1270, the Shard-seeker awoke Nilfur's memory, under direction by the Memory of Iben Fahd.[1]
In-game[]
The Memory of Nilfur appears as part of the Legacy of the Horadrim system.
Her in-game description is simply "Nilfur," but has been called "Memory of" here to distinguish him from his progenitor.
Tale[]
In the citadel of Ullrat, the emperor's lords-myrmidon executed his will—but in matters of actual power, they were children. Thus, when they clashed with Aphod's armies, they begged the Zann Esu for advisement, and I deigned to attend them. It had been a week since a blockade of cavalry and arrow held us trapped together in Ullrat's palace, and commoners in their homes. The thirst-deaths had begun.

Corpses lay in the streets with their skin shriveled. The two lords-myrmidon, Kalbaz and Isshai, looked down at them; safe, yet filled with fear. Isshai seemed disquiet, despite how often he had advised war with Aphod. He begged me, "great Nilfur, will you call upon your magic and strike down the invaders?" I held my hand up to bid him silent. I could hear the walls splintering.
- Level 20
Aphod's armies brought a great rock-hurler; where it struck, timber and stone walls were tossed about like twigs. I knew injury would be plentiful, homes destroyed. Spake Isshai again, "Mighty Nilfur, you must yoke the storm and take the invaders' lives!" Kalbaz said nothing--he feared my magic would bring other mages--but Isshai was insistent, and thus I replied: "No, for the enemy's weakness has not been revealed."
- Level 30
Before sunset, the armies of Aphod were inside the city. They fought with inhuman zeal, clambering up ladders in full suits of jagged armor. I studied them with eagles' eyes, my vision piercing through their helmets so that I could see the answer I sought upon the face of the enemy. But all I saw were people.
Aphod's soldiers stood upon the heaps of dead to surmount the walls separating Ullrat into quarters. Fighting beneath these walls led to collapses; hundreds were trapped and mortally wounded. The enemy vanguard pushed our despondent army to the exterior of the palace, and took up ramsheads to breach it. "Nilfur," Isshai cried, "will you not act?"
