A Master Inquisitor was a high-placed position within the ranks of the Cathedral of Light; one of the highest ranks existing in the faith. As its name suggests, a Master Inquisitor outranked normal Inquisitors.
When a cleric of the Cathedral was found murdered near the hamlet of Seram, the Cathedral dispatched a Master Inquisitor named Brother Mikelius to investigate the murder and to see to it that justice was done.[1]
