Margrave is a town located in the Fractured Peaks. It is explorable in Diablo IV.
Lore[]
Situated in/by the Krol Forest,[1] Margrave has been worn down by constant snowfall, and the repeated attacks of monsters and bandits that lurk outside its palisade walls.[2] It is under the influence of the Cathedral of Light, and a great pyre of the condemned was erected as warning for any who entered the town.[3] At least some art from Margrave's pre-Cathedral era was burnt at that same pyre.[4]
It has a town square.[4]
At some point, a merchant caravan passed through the town. They tried to hire more guards from Margrave, but no-one chose to sign up. After leaving the town, the caravan's people were picked off one by one.[5]

Points of Interest[]
- Altar of Light:
- Corpse: Whatever creature fed on this man, it had claws the size of daggers. The people of Margrave have more to fear than bandits in these woods.
- The corpse is found outside the town's eastern entrance.
- Cathedral Seal: The official seal of the Cathedral of Light, cast in heavy bronze. The surface is heavily tarnished, touched by countless pilgrims at the end of their journey south.
- Noticeboard: Citizens and pilgrims of Margrave - At the toll of the bell, all men, women, and children must assemble around the Pyre. Together, we bear witness to the wages of sin.
- Pyre of Margrave: Crowned by the Cathedral Cross, the great pyre stands as tall as any roof in town. Charred corpses of the condemned remain lashed to the timbers—a clear warning to all who enter Margrave.
