- Character description(src)
Manoruk was a simple court mage amongst King Leoric's court. He was one of the first to be murdered by Leoric.[1]
Lore[]
Once a pious court mage, Manoruk was one of the first to be murdered by his master, King Leoric, when he was driven to madness by the Burning Hells. The injustice fettered Manoruk's spirit between life and death. He waits in Leoric's shadow. and shields the king from visitors — but whether for his lord's protection or theirs, Manoruk cannot say.[2]
Years later, Manoruk was resurrected, but was slain by the Shard-seeker.[3]
In-game[]
Manoruk appears as the second boss in the Mad King's Breach dungeon in Diablo Immortal. He is fought in the Grand Hall, where he protects the doors to his master's throne room. He is aided by skeleton allies, and can summon Bone Spirits. If one gets too close, he will slam the ground, knocking the player(s) back. He is immune to knockback, and will block some attacks.
Trivia[]
- Unlike other bosses, Manoruk is not distracted by summons, and always directly attacks the player.
- Manoruk is classified as a "human" enemy in Diablo Immortal, despite clearly being an undead
