Lightning Mastery is a Sorceress Skill in Diablo II.

The final step in mastering the destructive powers of the firmament, this skill gives a Sorceress finer control and mastery over her powers. Once she has reached this point in her studies, she can begin to rival the powers of the Heavens themselves.

One of the final Sorceress skills, Lightning Mastery is also one of the most effective of Masteries, and is a must-have for any user of Lightning Spells. Chain Lightning, Nova, and Thunder Storm are generally ineffective in Hell mode without Lightning Mastery.
In classic Diablo II, this skill reduced the mana cost of all Lightning Skills instead. It is therefore the only skill in game that was completely reworked with the expansion pack.
