Lidless Wall is a unique Grim Shield from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
Due to the nature of its skills, Lidless Wall is most likely better suited in the hands of a spellcaster than a physical fighter.
In fact, Lidless Wall is probably the best unique shield for spellcasters (not including Rune Words or Set Items, which have plenty of caster-friendly shields). Besides its boost to all skills, Lidless Wall also gives a variety of bonuses that benefit magic users.
Perhaps most notable is Lidless Wall's increase to maximum Mana, Energy, and its Faster Cast Rate. These properties are highly valued among spellcasters (particularly Sorceresses and Bonemancers), as the Lidless Wall can be held with an Orb or Wand in the other hand.
However, the biggest problem with Lidless Wall is its lack of Resistances, which are often sought after in shields especially in Nightmare and Hell difficulties. This can be partially remedied by socketing Lidless Wall with the Act V quest and inserting a perfect Diamond or Um Rune, but otherwise Lidless Wall is lacking defensively compared to other shields.
