| − | Level 16 is challenging to say the least. I would only go if you are SURE you can do it because getting your stuff back is a pain in the butt if you die. It is almost always the same so I will just give it to you straight. You usually start in the middle by stairs (DUH). Then go around the areas killing ALL enemies (or it will hurt later). There are 3 closed rooms and one open one. In the open one, kill all the enemies and pull the lever to open the next room. The fourth room has DIABLO. I would Stone Curse him and kill all of his minions as a warrior. Rouges use the plain ol' Hit 'n' Run strategy or same as the warrior. Now the EASY part, the sorceror. Laugh if you want but the sorceror is the easiest to kill diablo with. Use about 4 chain lightnings (level 5 or higher) to clear his room then change to Fire Ball to burn him. At 100 - 300 damage a hit, he will die quickly. If you die, I wouldn't go back unless you have good stuff If you die. When you kill him, It will end the game shortly after so pick up drops if you want any. A cutscene will play and if you are online (battle.net), you will earn one dot per difficulty. Diablo, the Dark Lord of Terror in Level 16
Level 16, otherwise named Down to Diablo in terms of gameplay, is the fourth and the last Hell-style level in the original Diablo, and also the final level in the game, where the player(s) finds and wages war with Diablo, the Dark Lord of Terror himself. The player(s) reaches Level 16 through a pentagram on the floor located somewhere in Level 15.
Upon entering Level 16, Diablo himself is heard saying, in reverse, "Eat your vegetables, and brush after every meal!"
