In Season 17, all characters have this bonus for free, as long as they have no others (does not stack with the LoN itself).
Pieces[edit | edit source]
Set Bonus (2 items):
- While this is the only item Set Bonus the character has, their damage dealt is increased by 750% and damage taken is reduced by 4% for every Ancient Item they have equipped.
The effect stacks additively for each Ancient item (no matter if Set or Legendary), including the rings themselves. Primal Ancient items qualify as well for this bonus.
Overall, this set may prove helpful in the beginning of the maximum level game, or for custom builds that do not rely on set bonuses of class sets.
It also becomes surprisingly powerful in the endgame due to Ancient items becoming very common and frequently dropping, potentially granting the bearer up to 9750% increased damage done and 52% reduced damage taken (at 13 items).

Original set bonus of this set (pre-2.4) was significantly different:
- 15% extra gold from monsters
- 15% better chance of finding magical items
- Will sometimes summon a Skeleton or Skeleton Archer when you attack.
The last bonus had a small (roughly 10%) chance to trigger, and a 15 seconds duration with no internal cooldown. There was no cap of how many Skeletons can be summoned at a time.
At early stages of 2.4 testing, the bonus for an Ancient item was as high as 800% damage.
