Kyoshiro's Blade is a Legendary Fist Weapon introduced in patch 2.4 of Diablo III. It requires Character Level 70 to drop.

The unique affix has two multiplicative damage modifiers: the second one triggers if the cast hits few foes. This only counts the initial instant damage, not other effects. As for Wave of Light, damage of all 8 waves will count. For other Runes, damage of secondary effects will not be counted towards the 3-enemies-limit.

Stats (Level 70)

Properties:

  • 392.0 Damage Per Second
    • 168–392 Damage
    • 1.40 Attacks per Second
  • +626–750 Dexterity
  • One of 7 Magic Properties (varies):
  • Increases the damage of Wave of Light by 150%. When the initial impact of Wave of Light hits 3 or fewer enemies, the damage is further increased by 200-250%.
  • +3 Random Magic Properties

Kyoshiro was an optimist going into the battle at Xiansai. Though the walls were tumbling down around him, he quickly disposed of his enemies.

Development

Originally, this item was named Falcon Strike, and had an alternate description as following:

"A battle is a regrettable endeavor. If it must be undertaken, move fast, be strong, and provide your foes a mercifully brief education." — Archimandrite Cyprian
