When cast on melee monsters, Iron Maiden lets damage done to you or your minions be reflected in a form more powerful than what was received. The reflected damage can kill monsters who are attacking you or allies. The more points invested in Iron Maiden, the more damage gets reflected.
Iron Maiden reflects only physical damage.
Iron Maiden doesn't reflect ranged attacks.
Iron Maiden will still work with Flayer Blowdarts but is subject to physical immunities.
History
This spell curses a creature, condemning them to receive whatever pains they inflict upon others. The greater the skill of the Necromancer, the greater the magnitude of torment the victim receives for his wrongdoings.
