Ifriss the Destroyer was a massive saurian demon that served Skarn.
Biography[]
When not dispatched by the Lord of Damnation, Ifriss wallows in the Molten Egress of Skarn's domain. Magma suffuses its skin, seeping free and starting fires as it tramples through mortal lands. A tongue of flame lolls garishly from its mouth; Ifriss uses it to slurp up the anguished spirit of any creature it burns alive.[2]
History[]
Ifriss the Destroyer
Ifriss the Destroyer was summoned into Sanctuary by Eskara, in her final moments. However, Ifriss too was slain by the Shard-seeker who had slain her.[3]
Ifriss in the Realm of Damnation
It later reformed in the Burning Hells, but was slain by Tassi with the help of the Shard-seeker by using the Iceburn Tear to freeze it from within.[1]
After reforming once again, he was summoned into the Astral Realm by the Bride of Hell to stop Karshun and the Shard-seeker from returning to their bodies. Once again, he was killed.[4]
In-game[]
Ifriss is a boss in Diablo Immortal, fought immediately after Eskara in the Unseen Lair. Ifriss is large and slow, and attacks by swiping its claws, breathing fire, and summoning meteors. During the fight, Ifriss will summon Tortured Embers to attack the player(s).

- Ifriss's name is a possible reference to the Ifrit; a type of demon from Islamic mythology.
