The Idol of the Faithful
The Idol of the Faithful is a Cathedral of Light artifact. It is cursed, sapping the strength and dulling the senses of whoever bears it.
It is used in the pilgrimage penitents undertake across the Fields of Judgment, where they carry the idol on their back and come to shrines over the glacier. Reading from parchments located at these shrines removes the idol of its curse. The idol's final resting place is the Shrine of the Penitent.[1]

The Idol of the Faithful is a campaign quest item in Diablo IV, during the quest "Pilgrimage." Wearing the idol slows down the player character and greatly reduces their field of vision, along with applying a red filter.
