- Character description(src)
The Hungering Moon is an NPC (of sorts) in Diablo Immortal.
The Moon is a generous entity, and rewards its most faithful followers handsomely.[1]
Gameplay[]
The Hungering Moon was first introduced in Season 2 of Diablo Immortal, and has returned on a regular basis. During the periods where the Moon is active, players can acquire moonslivers and trade them in for blessings. Every seven blessings can be traded in for a random reward. The Moon interface can be accessed through the "Events" tab of the game's menu.
The event runs from 3 a.m. on a Saturday until 3 a.m. on the next Friday. Players can complete up to three tasks a day four times. Through completing tasks, they'll gain Astrolabe Power—the power can be used to draw one of two types of blessings with unique benefits from the Astrolabe.
The blessings are as follows, with the moonsliver rewards:
- Blessing of More:
- +50% experience while in dungeons for 10 minutes - 5
- +20% critical hit chance while in dungeons for 10 minutes - 5
- Blessing of Might: Complete any X dungeon solo or in a party to earn
- 1 dungeon - 10+10
- 2 dungeons - 20+20
- 3 dungeons - 30+30
If the dungeon is completed in a party first, the solo reward is also awarded.
The Hermit's Collection (located within the Hungering Moon event tab) can be accessed to trade moonslivers for lunar-laced rewards. Collecting and using 12 blessings in total earns The Moon's Regard—a bounty of 90 bonus moonslivers.
The Hungering Moon will reward players with the following materials if they collect the listed amount of moonslivers during the event's duration. No moonslivers need to be spent to acquire the materials:
- 10 Moonslivers: 3 Rare Crests, 4 Seal of Triumph
- 50 Moonslivers: 1 random Set Item, 7 Seal of Triumph
- 130 Moonslivers: 1 Telluric Pearl, 11 Seal of Triumph
- 230 Moonslivers: 1 Legendary Crest, 22 Seal of Triumph[1]
Moonslivers can be spent on the following rewards:
- Normal Gem - 15 (max: 4)
- Mystery Legendary Item 65 (max: 65)
- Aspirant's Key - 4 (max: 15)
- Reinforced Scrap Materials - 10 (max: 7)
- Flowing Shard - 15 (max: 3)
- 1000 Gold - 1 (max: 60)
Completing all the tasks (including taking the Moon's Regard) rewards exactly enough moonslivers to buy all the rewards.
History[]
The Seal of Triumph rewards were added with the release of Event Center, with Hungering Moon running between May 4 and 11.
Trivia[]
- Taking the character blurb as being literal, the Hungering Moon seems to be the moon of Sanctuary, personified. However, there is no in-game lore associated with the Hungering Moon.
