Heroes of the Storm is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) videogame by Blizzard Entertainment. It features heroes from its Diablo, Lost Vikings, StarCraft, Overwatch, and Warcraft settings.

Diablo was the second character to reveal himself in the game's trailer, after Jim Raynor. He fights with Raynor before being hit by a nuclear explosion launched by Nova. Tyrael also appears, and has an aerial fight with Sarah Kerrigan. All Diablo characters' opponents in the trailer are from the StarCraft franchise.
