Head Hunter's Glory

Head Hunter's Glory is a unique Troll Nest, a type of shield from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

Head Hunter's Glory is primarily a defensive shield, and can be used effectively by both spellcasters and physical fighters. It has a high defense and a reasonable chance of blocking.

However, most obvious about Head Hunter's Glory is its rather large boost to Defense vs. Missiles. Combined with other appropriate equipment (such as Shaftstop or the low level Coif of Glory), a player could find themselves with very high defense against long-ranged attackers.

Head Hunter's Glory unfortunately does not give bonuses to all resistances. It does give boosts to both Fire Resist and Poison Resist, but Cold and Lightning are exempt.

However, Head Hunter's Glory has the potential to be spawned with up to 3 sockets. In a best case scenario, one could either add Perfect Sapphires or Topazes to increase Cold and Lightning Resist, or even Perfect Diamonds to boost all resistances.
