Hatred Rising were events that featured in Season of Hatred Rising in Diablo IV.

During the season, Hatred Rising events occurred across the game map. The events heralded the arrival of a Realmwalker, and cycled between regions. They represented areas corrupted by Mephisto's hatred. Monsters emerged from portals, and the Realmwalker was buried in the event's initial stages. Pocket realms of Hatred were accessed through the Realmwalker's portal, depositing players in dungeons. Ruptures within these portals lead to random bonus rooms, and finished with a Realm Gate which presents a choice of rewards. Completing such a dungeon always rewarded players with a Seething Opal.
