A Gul rune is a high rune which can be socketed into equipment in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. Although Gul is the rarest mid rune, its value is diminished by its availability as a Hellforge drop, and by its lack of popular rune words. In ladder play, Gul runes have some value for transmuting into Vex runes.
Effects[]
Equipment type | Effects |

Socketing an item with a Gul rune increases the item's level requirement to 53, unless it was already higher.
