Griswold's Edge is a Unique Sword from Diablo I that is given by Griswold by completing the Anvil of Fury quest.

It can be regarded as one of the most powerful unique swords in Diablo I (Normal difficulty), due to its many qualities. There are two potential downfalls to this sword, however; one being the penalty to Life, which can be especially hard upon a Sorcerer if he so chooses to use it. Additionally, its Knockback quality, while helpful against strong foes, is more of a hindrance than an aid against ranged attackers unless backed into a corner.

Diablo III[edit | edit source]

In Diablo III, one may obtain a weapon similar to this weapon from the event, The Darkening of Tristram. It's a nod to the quest Anvil of Fury from Diablo I.

It is found by accessing the Anvil of Fury while exploring the Labyrinth.

"Give a man a sword and you can make him a warrior. Teach a man to forge and you can raise an army" — Griswold
