Greater Talons are the exceptional versions of Blade Talons. Unlike lesser forms of Katars, the Greater Talons can spawn with non-magic +skill bonuses. Greater Talons have the fastest attack speed of all exceptional claws. This, combined with their chance of having skills, makes them ideal as rune word bases. Greater Talons are superior to Runic Talons when it comes to making runewords, as they trade a little physical damage for much lower strength and dexterity requirements.
