Glór-an-Fháidha, the Great Oak[1] is a magnificent oak tree that stands at the heart of Túr Dúlra.
Lore[]
Glór-an-Fháidha is the most revered source of the Druids' guidance and teachings.[2] It takes back to the time of Vasily, who taught his kin under the Great Oak's branches. It is said that when he first taught, a raven perched in the tree to listen.[3]
Under its branches, for centuries, the Druids have honied not only their powerful arsenal of natural magic and the martial skills they retained from their Barbarian forefathers.[2] The tree is watched over by the Keepers; their wooden armor stands as a symbol of their connection with the tree,[1] and their staves are fashioned from its branches.[4]
Roots from the Great Oak growing at the seaward statue of Vasily will, on rare occasions, be found twisted back upon themselves, suffused with ferocious magic.[5]
