The Gilded Baron
The Gilded Baron, Fixated by Shiny Things is a type of Treasure Goblin added in patch 2.2.0 of Diablo III.
Upon death, Gilden Baron leaves several Treasure piles, which, when hit, drop piles of gold (no other loot). Prior to 2.4.2 gold reward nerf, the Baron could award several million gold per kill.
To distinguish them from other types, Barons have bright, shiny golden appearance.
Killing them is the easiest way to obtain an Avarice Conquest to get a 50 million gold streak without entering The Vault.
Killing a Gilded Baron has a low chance to spawn a portal to Not The Cow Level instead of his regular piles of loot.
