For other meanings of the term, see Ghoul.
"Ghouls are the strong, and are most often found as tomb guardians. Despite their slow speed, they retain some knowledge of tactics."
- Monster description(src)
Ghouls are a Zombie variant in Diablo II. They can be found in the Catacombs level 3-4.
Though still slow, they are much more sturdy compared to the two zombie variants before them and can rise from opened Caskets in Catacombs.
