Ghom, the Lord of Gluttony.

"Ghom is the largest of Azmodan's Sin Lieutenants, and he possesses no less than four mouths. Though his voracious appetite is certainly his greatest weapon, his bile and... well... other noxious excretions are equally lethal. When last seen in battle, the Lord of Gluttony swallowed half a dozen angels whole. Spears and all."

- Deckard Cain

Ghom, Lord of Gluttony is a mighty demon and (literally) the largest of Azmodan's generals or Sin Lieutenants.

Biography

Ghom was a powerful demon in service of Azmodan. Like all demons, he fought the forces of Heaven in the Great Conflict. Also known as the "Ravening Beast", Ghom once devoured six angels in a single swallow - spears included.

On Sanctuary, Ghom was faced with a new enemy—humanity, specifically those serving at Bastion's Keep. He was among Azmodan's forces that laid siege to the fortress. When Azmodan's infernal siege engines breached the Keep's walls, Ghom was sent forth to spearhead the assault from within the Keep. However, Ghom was struck down in the Bastion's Larder by a group of heroes defending the fortress.[1]

In-game

Ghom

Concept art.

Ghom features as a minor boss in Act III of Diablo III. He is involved in the breaching quest. Players should be careful of his bite attack, the little slimes he spits forth and the gas attack.[1]

Personality and Traits

The Lord of Gluttony is a title Ghom lives up to. Ghom's hunger is his signature weapon. He has three mouths: one on his torso and two that act as a pair of spaulders. Whenever he speaks, flatulences and licking of lips are heard. He attacks with a rather foul smelling gas, a putrid vomit attack and a bone crushing bite.[1]
