- Gamlin(src)
Gamlin is a successful man hailing from Bilefen but lived in Westmarch since he was a boy.
Biography[]
- Gamlin(src)
As a little boy, Gamlin's parents sent him to Westmarch in hopes of a better life. He resented his parents for that, thinking that they believed he couldn't amount to anything. He resolved to succeed to prove them wrong.[1]
Years later, Gamlin was comfortably wealthy and married. He decided to return home with his wife Ysenda, to visit his family. He also hired a bodyguard named Ulchel. When they arrived at Bilefen, he couldn't find his way as the terrain had changed since the last time he was there. A passing adventurer offered to help guide him. Before leaving,he told his wife and bodyguard to wait at a station at a nearby crossroads.[1]
He arrived to find his old home dilapidated, and overrun by wildlife. After the animals were cleared, he found four skeletons — that of his parents and his two sisters. After burying his family, he decided to return to Ysenda and go back to Westmarch, having had enough of Bilefen. They arrived to find a dying Ulchel and the corpse of Ysenda; already surrounded by flies. A Bog Lurker tried to ambush them but was defeated by the adventurer. Gamlin wallowed in grief and denial at losing all he held there, while his companion consoled him.[1]
